(1)  The Graduate School Khon Kaen University provides a large numbers of financial support to graduate students for MS and Ph.D. theses. For M.Sc. students, the available amount is up to 50,000 Baht, while for Ph.D. students, the scholarships and/or assistantships can be up to 100,000 Baht. 

(2) The Graduate School also provides financial support (30,000-70,000 Baht) for students to conduct a short-term study and research at oversea institutions.

(3)  The Faculty of Science  provides a number of TA and RA scholarships. The Science Postgraduate Scholarships for International Student (SPSIS) is also available for all science  research disciplines which are the International Programs.

(4) The faculty members obtain a large number of scholarships to support student’s research, enrollment and living expenses from several government agencies and research funding programs, including Thailand Research Fund (TRF), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDB), The Royal Golden Jubilee Project (RGJ), Biodiversity Research Thailand (BRT), PERCH etc.

(5)  Khon Kaen University offers a number of scholarships for foreigner students who are from Great Mekong Sub-region including Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Vietnam.
