[SOUTHEAST ASIA GLOBAL INNOVATION CHALLENGE (SEA-GIC) 2021] SEA-GIC is an annual flagship programme organised by ACS Malaysia Chapter with the main goal to promote innovativeness among SEA undergraduate students to solve real-world problems through pitching competition. In conjunction with this annual event, We have 3 activities as the highlight in SEA-GIC 2021:  Video-pitching Competition  A three (3) minutes video about the scientific achievements and suggested solutions using sustainable Chemistry should be submitted with an abstract at the link given (refer to the attached information).The details for the competition are as follow:  ·  Theme: Waste Booming during The Pandemic: Resolving via Sustainable Chemistry ·  Sub-area: Waste management, utilization, resourcing, and commercialization within the class of wastes involved; medical/healthcare waste, domestic waste/municipal solid waste, e-waste, and industrial waste. ·  Participate by: Undergraduate students of SEA regions (2 or 3 members and accompanied by 1 lecturer as an advisor compulsory)  ·  Date: i) New submission date: 6 September 2021 (12.00 p.m.) - 1 November 2021 (5.00 p.m.) ii) Final: Live presentation during the live session which will be held on 27 November 2021 at 9:30 a.m. Malaysia Time (GMT +8:00) via Zoom Meeting  ·  Prizes: RM2000 (1st) RM1500 (2nd) RM1000 (3rd)   Digital Arts Competition  A sub-competition of Digital Arts Competition on social media with an aim to increase awareness in the chosen theme will be included in this programme.
